AASR July 31 – August 3, 2014 at the University of Cape Town in Cape Town, South Africa.

Deadline for ISSRNC submissions to the AASR in Cape Town is 1 March 2014.

The International Society for the Study of Religion, Nature and Culture is happy to announce that we will join the African Association for the Study of Religions as a co-sponsor of the upcoming 6th AASR Conference in Africa, with the theme “Religion, Ecology, and the Environment in Africa and the African Diaspora.”

If interested in reading a paper at this AASR-ISSRNC conference, please send your ideas to the ISSRNC conference coordinator, Dr. Isabel Mukonyora. [email protected] The deadline for ISSRNC submissions to the African panel in Cape Town is 1 March 2014.

Bron Taylor, the founding President of ISSRNC will give the keynote speech. The AASR-ISSRNC will also hold a panel welcoming current and prospective members of the ISSRNC to share ideas about religion and the environment in Africa.
