I’m joining in the current meme, at the provocation of Craig, who hasn’t ‘fessed up yet. The question is: what is the most embarrassing book on your shelf? Somebody gave me Holy Blood and the Holy Grail a few years ago, with the highest recommendation. I took it with thanks, but haven’t quite got around to reading it yet. It’s doubly embarrassing, because one of the authors, Michael Baigent (“Teabing”), is a New Zealander.
You can also check out which books most embarrass Jim, Mark, Jason, Nick, Tom, and James. I tag Craig, Kenny, Nathan, and Donovan, as well as Remy, Roland, Rod, Mark, and Dr. Jim, and anybody else who wants to play.
I love the fact that this well-worn and frequently read piece is next to a pristine copy of The Case Against Q!
LOL! I’m glad you noticed this, Mark – and so soon.
But, to reassure you, the copy of The Case Against Q was closely read some years ago. Not as many times as Holy Blood / Holy Grail, of course, but what can one do…
Hmm, I see Mark Goodacre’s book there… You keep you’re most embarrassing book next to his? Is this a coincidence? I wonder… 😉
Every rose has its thorn.
Thank God I’m not the only one with that drivel on my shelf! And like you, I haven’t had the chance to read it, nor will I ever!
